Celebrating Motherhood!
It's amazing how one minute you're not and the next you are.

The title of mother is granted in an instant with the first meeting.

The stealing of your heart doesn't take much longer.
There's an incredulous moment of, this is really flesh of my flesh.
Then the instinct to nurture, to hold, to protect and to teach kick in and you're caught.
You not only hold the title but you embrace it and enlarge it.
I celebrate motherhood today because it's the only way to gain title to the most coveted of all titles, GRAMMY!
Thanks girls for making my Mother's day and every day joyful.

MY BABY GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE!
The Happy graduates!
They really did it!
Oh, wait the empty folders may be more true than they thought. Mike still has a four unit internship to finish and Jess found out that she was 1 unit short and has been trying to rectify the problem for the past three weeks.
Sassy
Delighted
Relieved

Christmas in Vancouver, BC
For the first time in my life I found myself awaiting Christmas without the anticipation of family coming or of us traveling to see family. It was a little scary.
So the old man and I decided that a Christmas vacation all on our own was in order. We planned our route, packed our bags and relieved ourselves and the children of the traditional Christmas gift giving and set off to Canada. We didn't really skip Christmas because we found Holiday cheer everywhere we went. We just skipped the craziness. I have to admit it wasn't half bad.
One of the many gorgeous waterways we happened upon.
